K-12 AANHPI Curriculum Project Workshop Launch

  • OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates 900 19th Street Northwest, 6th Floor Washington, DC, 20006 United States (map)

Mark your calendars and join us for the soft launch of OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocate's K-12 Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Curriculum Project Workshop to cap the end of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month! This 90-minute workshop will feature a panel of educators and advocates who will discuss the importance of including AANHPI studies in K-12 education, the development of new and exciting AANHPI lesson plans, and ways to incorporate curriculum into K-12 classrooms across the U.S. For the second half of the workshop, one of our very own curriculum designers will conduct a live walkthrough of a pilot lesson created specifically for this project. We will also share updates on our soon-to-be-released database -- you won't want to miss!
