Business Advisory Council
Working together to advance AAPIs in the workforce.
The OCA Business Advisory Council (BAC) comprises of corporations that support OCA’s programming and advocacy work. This group meets quarterly to exchange ideas pertaining to DE&I and AAPI community issues. With OCA at the seat of each company’s table, BAC members are able to hear the needs and opinions of the AAPI community and OCA is able to leverage their resources for members and constituents.
When OCA Founder Kung-Lee Wang formed the OCA Business Advisory Council (BAC) in 1980, it was an expansion of his vision that OCA’s mission could be furthered advanced by creating strong and lasting partnerships with America's corporate sector.
The OCA Business Advisory Council:
Fosters principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion;
Increases awareness of AAPI culture and issues in the workplace, and;
Nurtures mutually beneficial business opportunities that benefit the AAPI community.
Business partners benefit from an array of personal, professional, and community development opportunities through their involvement in the BAC. Partners collaborate with other talented and outstanding business and community leaders on projects that enhance the community and their businesses.
