OCA National Conversation Webinar Series

Happening monthly!

To kick off our 50th Anniversary Celebration year, OCA will be hosting monthly virtual conversations discussing various topics affecting AAPI advocacy and its intersectionality in all sorts of fields. This series will lead up to an OCA Town Hall scheduled for Saturday, July 15 in DC at the OCA National Convention.

The OCA Games: 2021 Giving Tuesday Fundraiser

We hosted a live fundraiser as part of Giving Tuesday, in support of our youth programs. Inspired by the Netflix series Squid Game, our contestants participated in three challenges: a spicy ramen challenge, dalgona challenge, and OCA National staff trivia.

National Rally for Angelo Quinto and Christian Hall

March 12, 2021

In December of 2020, the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community suffered two losses. Angelo Quinto (age 30) of Antioch, California, and Christian Hall (age 19) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, both of whom suffered from mental health issues, were killed in times of crises when police officers responded for assistance. This National Virtual Rally will bring together AAPIs from across the country to honor the lives of Angelo and Christian, and to call for justice and an end to police violence.

Speakers include Congresswoman Grace Meng, OCA National and chapter leadership, representatives from both Angelo Quinto and Christian Halls’ families, the Justice for Angelo Quinto Coalition, and the Asian Pacific Islander Political Alliance.
