OCA National is a co-host of The Unity March, an Asian American multicultural event to advance socioeconomic and cultural equity, racial justice, and solidarity. The June 25th mobilization aims to bring together the diverse Asian and Pacific Islander American diaspora with multicultural partners across the LGBTQ+, Muslim, disability communities, Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and Arab American communities.

Recognizing that no community is a monolith and that systemic biases have affected many of our communities throughout history, we will launch a slate of goals and programs to advance:

• Full participation in democracy - access to voting, citizenship, and civic power for immigrants and communities of color.

• Racial and Economic Justice - investing in workers, small businesses, entrepreneurs of color, and women.

• Cultural Equity and Media Representation - ensuring our stories are told by cultural and educational institutions and leaders.
