OCA Fireside Chat: Mobilizing & Organizing Your Community Towards Lasting Change

Communities hold the talents, creativity, energy, and power to tackle hate crimes in different and effective ways, as demonstrated by various OCA Chapters that have encountered hate crimes and raised effective response models in their communities.

Join us for an intimate conversation with civil rights attorney Liz Ouyang, as well as East Bay and Detroit Chapters, as we discuss each organization’s response to the rise in anti-Asian violence, strategies for effective organizing for Asian American and African American coalition building, and best practices so that you too can make impact in your community.
