Information

Recognizing the lack of access to quality education and resources for underserved communities, including the Asian Pacific American (APA) community, OCA is known as a leading organization in administering scholarships for APA students.

This application information is for the 2010 OCA-Verizon College Scholarships.  Ten (10) $2000 scholarships are available to college students who identify as being part of the Asian Pacific American community entering their 3^rd or 4^th year of undergraduate school in Fall 2010.  Graduate students and international students are not eligible. People with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

The scholarship cycle for the 2010-2011 school year has now ended. Please check the website again in January 2011 for the application for the 2011-2012 school year. 

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• College student entering their Junior or Senior Year.
• Demonstrate financial need
• Be a permanent resident or U.S. citizen
• Have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
• Specific Majors (listed below)
